If I’m not busy enough, I decided to design and build a smoker out of a trash can. True barbeque is done slow and low, and if it isn’t it’s called “grilling”. This sucker is perfect for 8 hour smoking. Turn it on in the morning, place your product on the perforated aluminium, go to work… come home and enjoy some tasty ribs. I prefer apple wood over most wood chunks. Mellow smoke flavour. The whole thing cost me about $60. The hot plate cost less than the trash can.
